Our first truly portable bending tool, it remains the "work horse" for the larger gardening operations, and for commercial hoop production. It is a very functional Hoop Bender Series , even for the serious nursery grower. Offering much more bending surface per stroke than the "DY" . The "C-Series" bender is highly recommended for serious gardeners and small nursery operations.
ALL HOOP HOUSES CAN BE EASILY MADE TALLER BY SIMPLY MAKING THE GROUND ANCHOR STAKES TALLER
The C-10 builds a 10 ft wide hoop. By 7 feet tall. The C-12 builds a 12 ft wide hoop. By 6 1/2 feet tall The C-20 builds a 20 ft wide hoop. By 9 1/2 feet tall The C-24 builds a 24 ft wide hoop. By 11 feet tall.
You can bend as many hoops that width as needed and build your greenhouse as long as needed or build several greenhouses. BUY THEM HERE>> WWW.BUILDMYOWNGREENHOUSE.COM
Any of these hoops can be raised taller simply by installing taller ground anchor post.
Important Note: Finished Hoop widths can vary on any metal tubing used, Regardless of Gage or Diameter! This varying is caused by the hardness of alloy (which is an unknown factor on all tubing) used in manufacturing the tubing. Our hoop benders are fixed radius (not adjustable) they are preset to produce the specified hoop width using metal tubing having an average hardness alloy. We are not responsible for varying alloy's which can produce hoops smaller or larger than the average alloy's used today. You are encouraged to read and review all instructions before making your choice of hoop bender to purchase.
Produces 20 ft wide Greenhouse Hoops using three and one half +or -, 10' 6" lengths of 1 3/8 inch o.d. 16 or 17 gage chain link fence top rail tubing which is sold at all hardware stores. NOTE, This is a very large Hoophouse. We recommend The C-20 For Beginners The 20 ft hoophouse cost less to build and operate.
Our model number system is quite simple; Each model number begins with one or more Letters which indicate the Series followed by one or more numbers. The letters indicate the bender Series and the numbers indicate the Width of Greenhouse Hoop in (feet) that specific bender is designed to produce when using the recommended size and gauge of tubing specific to that hoop.
For example the "DY"& "C" & "PF" series each having the same three hoop sizes. Each has a 10 ft, a 12ft and a 20 ft hoop size. So what is the difference between a DY-10, C-10 and a PF-10? All three build a 10 ft hoop? YES they do. The difference is the total amount of available bending surface of the specific series.
All of the "DY" series have about 24 inches of usable bending surface which requires about 6 or 7 bending strokes (motions) to complete the bending of one 10' 6" length of tubing. Where as the longer "C" series has about 48 inches of bending surface thereby requiring only 3 or 4 bending strokes, while the "PF" series has 72 inches of bending surface requiring only 1 long and 2 short strokes to complete the ends.
With that said, what is the advantage of having more bending surface per bending stroke? While it is quite easy to bend steel tubing on any of these benders, none the less, it is a physical exertion and if you are planning on bending several dozen hoops on a regular basis the "C" series benders reduce's the fatigue from the bending process. The "PF"reduces it even more, if one is planning on building hundreds of greenhouse hoops, either for their own nursery or perhaps to build greenhouse kits for resale to others the more bending surface the better.
